Hello guys, how are you?
Jamie: We´re good!!!! I´m Jamie from the band „sights unseen“!!

Please introduce your band to us and tell us a little bit more about the band members!
Jamie: In the band is Les Posan (bass), Ernie Meggison (lead guitar and backing vocals), Andy Mcpherson (drums), and I am Jamie Nudds (lead vocals and rythem guitar).

"sights unseen" - An interesting name for a band. Who decided to use this name?
Jamie: The name was a group decision, we figured that our music was in depth enough that people might be able to see things around them a little more clearly. And "sights" shouldnt be taken literally as it could pertain to things the musice after listening to it can make u see in vision.

How did you get together?
Jamie: Ernie and I have played together off and on and Les and Andy have played together for years ...Ernie started jamming with Les and Andy and thought to bring me out and we all just really clicked musically and personally and it just seemed to work!!!! They way something of importance should!

Since when do you know for sure that you´ll make music?
Jamie: We knew that we would make great music right from the start and not only are we making music but our personalitys are able to shine within our music and we feel that by not making music we are cheating ourselves aswell as others.

What did you do when you finished school?
Jamie: Started chasing our dream!!!

Do you earn your money only with misic or do you have other jobs beside being a musician?
Jamie: We all have day jobs that allow us to live but music isn´t about the money it´s about a connection with peolpe and being able to express ourselves as people. The goal is to beable to play music as our " full time job" but untill that happens we will do what we have to..

Where did you get your inspiration to write songs from?
Jamie: The insperation came from everyday things that were relative to us like heart ache trials and tribulations and adversities in our lifes that we have. We take pride in writing about things that are real to us and not writing about things that we have never experienced!!! And hope fully people will can and are being able to relate to our music.

How would you describe your sound and how do you see your sound develop in the future?
Jamie: It's an eclectic mix ouf sound and emotion!!!! It´s a refreshing blend that comes naturally and we don´t follow the " sound thats popular" or what everyone else is doing!!!! We don´t write a song in a certain style because we have to or because we should the songs and the style of songs we write comes with feeling!!!
And our sound will take wich ever direction it wants and we wont stop what feels good.

Is the music industry doinig enough to find and develop new talents?
Jamie: I don´t think so!! There staying and signing bands that sound the same!!! Because its safe!!!
The should broaden the horizens!!! But thats just my opinion.

Do you have some interesting hobbies?
Jamie: No....... music is my life.

Which is the best place on earth you have ever been?
Jamie: The best place i have ever been is probably the Dominican Republic for some reason it just felt like home from the minute i stepped of the plane it felt like i was supposed to be there!!!!

Do you have heros in your life?
Jamie: My mom was my hero!!! She passed away 11years ago but the things she did to support my sister and i as a single parent was amazing and she never felt sorry for herself or complained about it. She did what she did because it had to be done and she was nevere selfish...so she is defenietly my hero.

Private: Which music do you like?
Jamie: The music i like is what ever makes me feel good nothing specific.

Will you ever come to Germany?
Jamie: We would love to come and play in Germany!!!!! Nothing is set yet but we wouldn´t count it out!!!
